Cadence settings

It is important that you review your Cadence background settings before you commence with creating and publishing a cadence from your platform. To access the setting click Cadence>Settings and you will see the window below.

Connect email

Add your own business Gmail or Outlook email address here and connect with your Cadence leads on a 1-1 basis, this will automatically add your business email to cadence emails that you set up and own.

Call settings

Click here to learn how to set up calls from the platform. Full details of the area are covered in this separate article. Adding this feature to your cadence settings means you can call leads directly from your platform and record calls with your contacts. (calls are charged)

Activity Types

Add your own customised Activity Types, by clicking the button at the top right, where you can add the activty name and a choose an icon.

Make activities active or inactive to add/remove activities that are available to add to your cadences by selecting the activity and moving it across using the middle arrows.

Outcomes

In this area you can set up your deal outcomes per pipeline, edit the defaults to reflect your business sales processes and in terms of Closed, Lost & Deleted. These are added to a deal once it reaches the end of its sales process, meaning you can categorise your outcomes and report on them.

Templates

Customise this area by adding your own templates, so you can easily access commonly used email templates, that you may wish to add to multiple emails or cadences. Select Add New Template, making sure you have highlighted the type of template you want to add on the left and add your new template as below.

Add your new email template below, with title, subject and message. Automtically pull through contact properties like first name etc, by clicking on the various property buttons. Format and save your template as desired. Templates can be customised when added to a cadence email step.

Phone and LinkedIn options - add commonly used messaging or outline scripts to assist your sales processes.

Documents

Add documents here that you would usually send to Deals, for example contracts and other helpful documents you might want to add to your deal record.

Card Settings

Manage how your deal looks in your sales pipeline and customise exactly what you want to see on your contact's deal card.
