Using the Campaign Planner

4 min. readlast update: 10.18.2023

The section gives you the ability to manage your campaigns in a more effective way, via our planner tool.

With a single view of all your campaigns in one place, you can see the date the campaign was created, a preview of the landing page, the owner it is assigned to, the status of the campaign, with the additional elements of comments, editing, archiving and duplication features.

You are able to filter the campaigns based on their status as well as filter by owner and created date.

The below outlines a breakdown of the items available within the table:

Details

This offers a quick snapshot of the campaign:

  • Campaign name
  • When the campaign was created
  • Who the campaign was created by
  • And the type of campaign

Preview

This provides a snap of the campaign landing page - otherwise it will advise that there has yet to be a landing page created.

Assigned To / Status

This dropdown allows you to re-assign a campaign to a different owner. The owner field works in conjunction with the status dropdown to generate notifications. Notifications can be generated and sent to the user if they have been assigned to a campaign that has a status of approval needed, requires edit, approved. This allows you to keep the users involved in this process informed when a task has been assigned to them, allowing you to operate a quick and easy creation process.

The notification reminder is generated based on the change of a status. For example, if I change my campaign from “Draft” to “Approval Needed” – it will produce a pop up asking if you would like to send a notification to be sent to the assigned owner. This will send an email notification to the user advising that there is a campaign awaiting their approval. It will also attach a csv copy of the campaigns they have been assigned too.

Note that you can directly activate or archive a campaign straight from the planner tool.

Comments

This feature is useful if there are multiple users contributing to your campaigns. It gives the opportunity for users to offer feedback and comments to help improve or offer changes that need to be updated for your campaigns. The comments icon will show a count of how many comments have been left against a campaign. By selecting on the icon, it will allow you to review the comments or leave your own.

Manage Options

The button offers a range of options to manage your campaigns, as listed below:

  • Edit - This will take you straight into the campaign editor where you can customise your collaterals, update and manage your features, as well as generate and customise your URLs.
  • Delete - This will completely delete your campaign should you no longer need it - please advise that once deleted there will be no way to retrieve it again.
  • Archive - This option is to keep an updated view of your active campaigns. By using this feature, it will simply hide it from your active campaign list. Note that these can always be found by changing the filters of your campaign, and we do not delete the campaign.
  • Duplicate - With our duplication functionality, we have made it quick and easy to duplicate your campaigns, when needed. By selecting the duplication option, it will redirect you to a copied version of your campaign. It will copy your campaign collaterals and added features.

Export Plan

With some clients generating campaigns on the platform that requires additional confirmation from other users not using the platform – we have created an export functionality which will export all the campaign details needed to get your campaign approved, this can then be emailed directly to the relevant person for approval.
